|Welcome to the Dobbs movie
Meet Me On South Street, recreates the rich history of Philadelphia's premiere rock & roll bar, JC Dobbs, the club where Rock & Roll Legends were made!
JC Dobbs... the Rock and Roll soundtrack of Philadelphia.
With archival photographs, videos and contemporary interviews, award winning filmmaker, George Manney documents the evolution of Philadelphia's fertile music and arts subculture.
We will now include unseen footage, interviews, and audio plus the opening of Legendary Dobbs featuring new bands and artists that continue to play on that sacred stage on South Street.
The first DVD draft of our movie is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Library & Archives.
With your help we can clear music and film licensing
(Bo Diddley, Dion, Steve Earle, Nirvana, Robert Hazard),
color correct, and include an editing team.
If you would like to make a Tax Deductible donation ($25.00 or more), you may do so by Clicking the Paypal DONATE Logo below that is set up via our Philly Pop Music.com account with the Greater Philadelphia Film Office.
